Crowe flies to UK for Donington World Supersport race
For Immediate Release: 3 September 2008.

Yamaha’s Jeremy Crowe will make an early return to World Supersport competition this weekend, receiving a call from Team Yamaha Spain to pilot its factory R6 in the absence of their regular rider.

Crowe had been confirmed as a starter for the Vallelunga race in Italy later this month, and received a welcome request from the team to race at this weekend’s Donington event in addition.

Though his international experience extends to just one race, his skill and work ethic has been realised by the Spanish factory outfit and team crew chief Jordi Arquer was quick to recommend the emerging Supersport star as a replacement for David De Gea who was injured during training.

Crowe to start second WSS race with Team Yamaha Spain For Immediate Release: 21 August 2008.

Following his impressive international debut in June, the Yamaha Racing Team's Jeremy Crowe will make a welcome return as guest rider at Team Yamaha Spain to contest the Vallelunga round of the World Supersport Championship on September 21.

The team was impressed by Crowe's technical knowledge and ability to quickly adapt to a bike with a vastly different set-up to his regular ride in the Australian Supersport Championship.

In his first outing, Crowe set – and achieved – a measurable goal of a pointscoring finish, one he hopes to build on when the WSS field travels to Rome in just over a month.

"It's great to be offered another opportunity with Team Yamaha Spain, I'm feeling really good about my chances and am looking forward to making some good progress through the field at Vallelunga," said Crowe.

"My first race in Germany opened my eyes to what's required, the tracks are certainly different but the biggest factor is race length. In Australia we're racing for around 20 minutes at a time, whereas a WSS race is up to 45 minutes long," he said.

For Immediate Release: 25 May 2008.

Continuing the manufacturer's trend of creating worldwide opportunities for its local racers, Yamaha Motor Australia is pleased to announce its support of Jeremy Crowe as he lines up for a start at the German round of the World SBK Championship.

Crowe will ride for the factory Team Yamaha Spain in the Supersport class at the infamous Nurburgring circuit on June 15.

The winner of round 2 of the Australian Supersport Championship has an extensive and successful relationship with Yamaha, graduating to the factory squad after two successful seasons as a privateer on the R6.

At this year's World SBK Championship round at Phillip Island, Crowe was called on for some local knowledge from the team as they pondered the best way to tackle the sweeping, high-speed turn 1 at the Victorian circuit.
